Spring 2 2025

Great day celebrating World Book Day

We had a very exciting Science Week this term. We engaged in various scientific activities.

Firstly we welcomed Technocamps to school and Jack taught us how to develop our 'Scratch' skills using eco systems and food chains as a stimulus. We also developed our skills and knowledge related to animal adaptations and classified organisms according to their habitat and adaptability.

Our class novel, Robinson Crusoe was a stimulus for our Science investigation about filtering water and we now know how Robinson survived by filtering water from streams.

A big 'Well done' to Abigail and Cara who felt so strongly about plastic pollution and our local environment that they designed posters to spread the word. These posters are now in the process of being made into large posters to be displayed in our local park areas. we are very proud of you girls. Our local Councillor presented the girls with voucher for their efforts.
