Dear Parents/Carers,

A heartfelt and enormous thank you to the incredible Friends of Penclawdd for their tireless fundraising efforts! This term, thanks to their unwavering dedication and generosity, we have been able to purchase:

- A luxurious new carpet for the Sea Lions

-A lovely wooden welly rack each for the Flamingos and the Sea lions classes

- A wonderful wooden outdoor house structure for all the Foundation Learners

-Outdoor storage for the Foundation Learners

-Outdoor games for both Foundation and Y3-Y6 children

 

Keep Wales Tidy

We worked hard with Alex from@Keep_Wales_Tidy  to build our wildflower and wildlife garden. This will form part of our relaxation station in our playground. We cannot wait to see it bloom! #PencOutdoors #PencHCI

Universal Children's Day 
Next Wednesday, November 20th, is Universal Children's Day. Each class will be talking about/doing an activity on Children's Rights.

Friends of Penclawdd are asking for donations of 🎅🏼Christmas jumpers (in good condition) to recycle at the Christmas Fayre on December 4th 2024.

Christmas shopping🎅🏼

Spending with Scholastic earns free books for us as a school to stock our library full of the best new books and resources.  If you are buying books for Christmas gifts this Christmas, please consider shopping with Scholastic in their on-line shop and naming our school.  We will be gifted the commission and will then be able to buy even more books for our library.  Thanks to your incredible support, we have just purchased books up to the value of £420 for our school library through Scholastic.  The children can't wait to receive them!  Follow the link below to start shopping!

Children in Need 2024🧸🐻

Well done to all the children who entered and the winning act.  We had a fun filled day and importantly raising funds for Children in Need. And of course the staff talent contest was fantastic - our team are such good sports. The final total to be announced on Monday.
