Dear Parents/Carers,
It's been a busy week with Parents' Evening taking place. I hope you managed to catch up with your child's teacher and are pleased with your child's progress. Our Nursery class celebrated Harvest and performed songs for their parents/carers. It was wonderful to see children who are so young performing on our stage. See here
We would like to inform you that Estyn will be carrying out a one-day interim inspection at our school next Tuesday, 22nd October. The purpose of these interim inspections is to provide Estyn with a better understanding of schools and to support leadership in reviewing progress since the last core inspection, while identifying next steps for further improvement.
After School clubs/Lunch time clubs
Children attending this week have had a great time. This half term the Year 6 cooking club have made Pizza, Cheesecake, Chicken Curry and an Apple Crumble - we think the parents like the children attending this club too! See here
Shwmae Day
Shwmae Day 2024 was enjoyed by everyone as we all embraced our Welsh culture. Children ventured into our village and asked our local community about our Welsh language. Children enjoyed having the Welsh flag painted on their faces and raising funds for Criw Cymraeg.
Christmas Shoe Box appeal 2024 - please see letter sent via Seesaw
This year, our school community is once again participating in the Tabernacle Christmas Shoe Box Appeal 2024! Parents and children are working together to fill shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and personal care items for children in need around the world. This heartwarming initiative encourages children to embrace the spirit of giving during the holiday season. We’re excited to see the generosity of our families and look forward to making a positive impact. Thank you to everyone who is contributing! Let’s make this Christmas special for those less fortunate.
Harvest 2024
