This week`s picture is from our wonderful visit to the Sherman Theatre to watch ` A Christmas Carol`.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Y3-Y6 had such a fab afternoon, being inspired for our own adaption of ‘A Christmas Carol’. The Adopt an Actor programme is such a fantastic idea too! Thanks @ShermanTheatre

Sharing the Learning events this week

Our Polar Bears invited parents and carers into school for a Harry Potter gift shop experience. It was wonderful to see such great learning being shared. They were quite the entrepreneurs and their shop included home-made PPS butter beer, chocolate frogs and much more. Their Gringott sculptures and Jean-Michel Basquiat artwork were fabulous. Well done to the Team Polar Bears.

Our Starfish class entertained their families by having a hands-on interactive workshop, which saw parents/carers having the chance to make cream cheese and smoked mealworms wraps and using recycled bottles to make firefly nightlights and more... They also showcased their wonderful art work/products in the Beast Creator art gallery, which also included some lovely customised notelets. It was fantastic to observe such amazing learning being shared.

Thanks to our families for supporting your children.

Castell Howell-Christmas Santa Lorry

It’s that time of year again and the Christmas lorry will soon be making a start on its rounds! Anyone who spots our Santa lorry and sends in their best picture with or of the lorry will get put into a draw to win a luxury Christmas hamper. We were overwhelmed by last year’s entries, having received some fantastic pictures from schools and catering staff who all got into the festive spirit! Please view the attached advert for more information.
